LR was up at 5:30 on the dot this morning. He nursed and then played on his mats. We read through his favorite books and signed all the animals. Then I watched him explore the living room a bit. Now that he's crawling more, he's finding more things to pull himself up on. We put him in his jumperoo while we got ready for work. He never seems to tire of jumping.
Gigi took him to sign class today where he showed off his new crawling skills by making a B-line for the toys in the center of the room. They sang their old songs and picked up a new one about making tea or something like that. She reported that he had nice naps today, one for an hour and a half and one for an hour. He also put himself to sleep in his crib for the afternoon one after 10 minutes of fussing. Hopefully we can start to put him in the crib without having to rock him too much.
I came home to find a happy baby. Gave him carrots, green beans, stars, and Zweiback toast for dinner. He loves that toast! It's nice because it keeps him entertained while I make the rest of his dinner. Then it was into the bath to get rid of the green bean styling gel he tried out during dinner. Put him in a new set of summer pjs with short sleeves and no feet. Gigi bought them for him this week. Daddy came home in time to put LR to bed. He took 8 ounces of formula and then Daddy had to bounce him to sleep.
