Fear and Humor

Still don't have new photos of him, so here are some old ones from the time before I started this blog.

LR is starting to show signs of both fear and a sense of humor. Whenever we get close to the introduction of Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story, LR begins to whimper. When Buzz appears, the camera pans from his feet to his head and the music swells. LR hates it and wants me to fast forward through it every time.

The other day we were watching an episode of Kipper the Dog and a little bird was jumping around on the ground in front of Kipper. LR laughed and made me rewind it a couple of times before he'd let me move on. It's very cool to start getting insight into what he thinks is funny (and scary).

LR is still all about the corn dogs. I ran out last night so now he's trying to go a whole day sans fried tofu. Gigi arrived this morning and Daddy took the day off, so I expect they'll be able to handle him. Daddy reported that he recognized Gigi which is always a good way to start a visit.
